Pro bono advice
We support the St James Legal Advice Centre in providing legal advice to people in the community who may otherwise struggle to access the support they need. Our junior solicitors help people understand their rights across employment, welfare, housing and consumer contract matters.
Local partnerships
As a firm, we show our support for local events and clubs. This includes sponsoring North London Cricket Club and local events such as the Highgate Fair in the Square, Hampstead Summer Festival and the Crouch End Festival.
Charitable giving
We regularly back both local and UK-wide charities who share our values - helping to fund vital services across North London and beyond. One of our key partners is Food Bank Aid – a local London charity that provides essential supplies. You’ll often find us packing food packs or volunteering in the warehouse.
Our journey from back then to right now
1976
Bruce Streather establishes Streathers' West End office.
2010
Sam and Chris leave Streathers’ West End office to establish a small branch office in Tuscan Studios, Highgate.
2014
We opened new offices in Crouch End, being joined by colleagues from local firm Rich and Baily Solicitors
2015
We opened new offices in Hampstead, acquiring Lavery Haynes Solicitors in the process.
2018
We opened new offices in Highgate Village, acquiring Henry Boustred and Sons Solicitors in the process.
2022
Move into larger premises at our current location in the heart of Crouch End.
2024
Opened new offices in Islington.
2026
Rebranded as Streathers Daynes Smith to reflect the firm we’ve become and what makes us different.
