Victoria Kernahan is a Senior Legal Assistant in our Property team, specialising in Residential and Commercial Conveyancing. With a passion for delivering clear, practical legal support, Victoria is known for her kindness, accuracy, and careful attention to timing.
She regularly supports buyers—particularly first-time purchasers who may feel nervous about the process—alongside sellers who can find the conveyancing journey daunting. Victoria also assists property owners in navigating complex legal challenges, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and confident at every stage of their transaction.

This helps ease the pressure when issues may arise and allows for transactions to proceed smoothly. Victoria brings 32 years of experience to her role, with a strong track record of managing time-sensitive transactions efficiently and effectively, looking at all matters in a detailed manner and giving full, flexible support whenever needed.

- Developing and onboarding a computer network system.
- Setting and running a successful Completions Department.
- Arresting a possible fraud transaction whilst doing a full compliance and AML investigation on a potential client.
- Assisting with completing conveyancing transactions within two weeks of instruction.
- Assisting in the refinance of a property within two days of instruction.

Victoria is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Secretaries and PAs and holds certifications in Conveyancing; and Wills, Probate & Trusts. She remains committed to staying at the forefront of industry developments to ensure clients receive the highest standard of guidance and support.
Beyond the Law
If Victoria were not a Senior Legal Assistant, she would be a teacher. She views her experience and knowledge as a gift to be shared and enjoys mentoring new staff members, firmly believing that with the right guidance, everyone can achieve their goals.
Outside of work, Victoria enjoys writing poetry, a hobby she began in primary school in Trinidad and has recently expanded into writing and publishing her first short novel. She is also a Beaver Scout Leader with the Scout Association for 20 years and recently became a Trustee and Charity Commissioner of the Wandsworth District Scout Council. She is also the President of the Battersea Labour Social Club in support of the Battersea Community.
