Kate White is a Trainee Solicitor in our Contentious Probate team, specialising in Trust and Estate disputes. Kate also has experience in drafting Wills, Trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney. She supports clients through will disputes and estate administration conflicts, providing clear, practical guidance during emotionally challenging situations.

Kate is known for her approachable manner and her ability to explain complex legal issues in a way clients can easily understand. She takes time to understand each client’s circumstances, ensuring they feel listened to and supported while navigating sensitive situations with clarity and confidence.
By building strong and trusting relationships, she helps clients feel reassured throughout contentious and personal legal matters, balancing empathy with professionalism.
Kate’s focus is on making estate planning and disputes less daunting, turning legal complexity into clear, actionable advice tailored to each client’s circumstances.
Prior to joining Streathers Daynes Smith, Kate graduated from the University of Bristol and went on to the City Law School to complete her Graduate LLB and Legal Practice Course. Supporting clients in claims relating to the validity and interpretation of Wills, including challenges based on capacity, undue influence, and execution issues.
Assisting clients in identifying suitable structures for their Wills, advising on key decisions and incorporating effective estate and inheritance tax planning throughout the process.
Helping clients select appropriate primary and replacement attorneys, advising on when their powers should take effect, and guiding decisions about who should be appointed to make end–of-life decisions.
Supporting beneficiaries, executors, and personal representatives in conflicts arising during the administration of estates.
Helping clients understand their position, available options, and potential outcomes before disputes escalate.
