Archivist & Digital Records Coordinator
Charlie Voong is the firm’s Archivist and Digital Records Coordinator, responsible for managing and safeguarding the firm’s information assets with accuracy, care and consistency. Working across digital and physical records, Charlie supports the firm by keeping information organised, accessible and protected throughout its lifecycle.

Charlie understands that records are more than files. They are evidence, memory and trust. By supporting the firm in managing information consistently, Charlie helps ensure records are handled appropriately and in line with regulatory and professional requirements.
Known for their thoughtful and methodical approach, Charlie is approachable and dependable, providing clear, practical guidance and bringing structure and calm to complex information environments.
Their approach focuses on practical, accessible information practices that support accuracy, efficiency and consistency.
Charlie specialises in archives, records and data management, drawing on several years’ experience within New Zealand’s state sector, in a Crown agency environment. Their expertise spans historic and contemporary records, with a particular focus on learner and data records across their full lifecycle.
This experience now informs Charlie’s work within the legal sector, supporting effective and sustainable records management across the firm.
Charlie brings a people centred perspective to records and information management, with an interest in how good information practices support accountability, wellbeing and sustainable ways of working. Charlie is an active member of the firm’s Health and Wellbeing Committee, supporting events through poster and visual design, and also takes part in the firm’s work netball and tennis. Outside of work, they enjoy arts and crafts, including scrapbooking and crocheting, reflecting a wider professional outlook that combines organisation, creativity and care.
If Charlie was not an archivist, they would have their own ceramics studio, reflecting their interest in creativity and thoughtful, hands-on work.
After relocating from New Zealand to the UK several years ago to be with family, Charlie has made the most of being London-based by travelling across Europe and enjoying live music and concerts.
